This is a wonderful pair of vintage ladies’ gloves dating to the 1960s.  Made of shiny silver, in a somewhat stretchy material, maybe Lycra (elastane) or nylon or some similar 60s modern fabric.  They are rather futuristic, and remind me of something that would have be seen in a 60s era sci-fi film.  Designers like Courreges used these materials to create a “space-age” look during the mid-60s.  These came with a lot of unused gloves from the 1950s and 60s.  They are no longer attached and you can see a pinprick sized hole on each where a price tag was attached.  They are in excellent condition as they are unused.  They are handwritten on the interior with “6/2”, which stands for size 6 1/2.  

Size:  Size 6 1/2 - most of the gloves in the lot were either 6 1/2 or 7.  They have a length of 11 5/8” to the middle finger and a palm width of 3 1/8” - they are new, so have to be worked in/stretched. 

This is a wonderful pair of 1960s space age era gloves - fun pair that is sure to be noticed!
